Settings

Five controls and two account actions. Everything else lives on the bar.

Settings is one panel, opened from Settings on the bar. There are no tabs and no sub-pages — if a control is not here, it is on the bar itself, where it is reached mid-call.

The controls

SettingWhat it does
StealthHides the panels from screen sharing and recording. Turn it off only to demo or screenshot the app. See Screen sharing.
OpacityHow solid the panels are. Lower lets the call show through; it never goes fully transparent.
Glance speedHow fast words flow through the reader. Around one second per group is comfortable. Shown as both a hold time and a words-per-minute figure.
Glance widthHow many words the reader shows at once. Wider keeps more of the sentence in view; narrower forces the eye to one place.
Snap under cameraSnap now moves the panels directly below your webcam, so your eyes stay near the lens when you glance.

Glance speed and glance width are different settings

Speed is the pace words move. Width is how many are on screen at once. They interact: at a fixed words-per-minute, a wider group sits still for longer, so the panel reads calmer without actually being slower. The panel shows both numbers for that reason — the seconds are what you feel mid-call, the words-per-minute is what you are being judged by.

Account

Two actions sit under a divider:

  • Plan & billing — opens your browser to the billing page. Plans and cancellation live on the web, not in the app.
  • Sign out — ends the session and returns to sign-in.

Below them the panel prints DEVICE and a short device label. That is the identifier support will ask for; it is not your account and it is not secret.
