How we decide what ships on this site.
Sourcing, review, vendor claims, benchmarks, and corrections — the standard every page here is held to.

How we source
Every substantive claim on MiPrep AI links to a primary source, a first-party test, or a named vendor page. If we can't find one, we don't make the claim. Latency numbers come from our own benchmarks on real hardware; product-behavior claims come from shipped code we've read or written.
When a source updates, we update. When a source disappears, we log it in corrections and either re-cite or remove the claim.
Named authors
Marketing pages, comparisons, and technical explainers are reviewed and published under MiPrep AI as the organizational author. When a piece has a single named author with domain expertise, we'll name them explicitly; when it's a team effort, MiPrep AI signs it. We don't ghost-attribute to fictitious personas.
Vendor and product claims
Competitor comparisons (the -alternative pages) are based on public documentation, marketing pages, and free-tier testing at the date shown on the page. Vendor pricing, feature sets, and platform support change; we re-check quarterly and stamp a “last verified” date on every comparison page. If a vendor writes to us with a correction, we update within 5 business days and log the change.
Benchmarks and numbers
Latency, accuracy, and throughput numbers on this site come from tests we can reproduce. When we publish a benchmark page, we publish the methodology and hardware alongside it — not the number alone. If we cite a third-party benchmark, we link the source and its date.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it on the original page, annotate the change inline, and add a row to /corrections. We don't silently rewrite history. Reach us at [email protected] if you spot something.
