The unfair game
Every candidate who lands a FAANG offer has a coach. Either paid ($200–$500/hr), or a friend at the company, or a manager who mentored them for years. The candidate without any of those pays the price — not because they're less capable, but because they didn't get the map.
What MiPrep AI is
A coaching tool available to every candidate for the cost of a coffee. Real-time answers grounded in the candidate's own resume, streamed to a private HUD the interviewer never sees. It's the friend at the company who took your call at 11pm to walk through the system design one more time. Now that friend is an app, and everyone gets one.
What MiPrep AI isn't
A cheat button. If you don't know what your resume says, MiPrep AI can't help. If the interviewer follows up and you can't back up the prompt, MiPrep AI can't save you. It's a coach, not a replacement for the interview itself.
Why we won't lie to you
Every competitor claims '116ms latency' as a marketing headline. Users report 4–5 second real-world lag. We don't play that game. When we publish a latency number it will be measured, benchmarked, and reproducible. When we say 'invisible to screen share' we test it on every release and pay a bounty if we're wrong.
How we run the company
Honest billing. One-click cancel. Prorated refunds on request. No dark patterns. No ads pixels. No session-replay tracking. We use Umami analytics because it's cookieless and privacy-first. We use Logto auth because we self-host it. We ship unsigned during v1 because release velocity beats notarization queue. When we grow, we'll sign. When we succeed, we'll open-source the RAG stack.
