Tech layoff tracker
Rolling record of tech-industry layoffs affecting engineering, product, and go-to-market roles. Company · headcount · date · what it means for candidates in the interview loop. Sourced from public filings, WARN notices, press coverage, and direct company communications.
How this list works
- Included: layoffs of 25+ headcount at US-based tech companies (SaaS, AI, infrastructure, fintech, developer tools, dev-hiring platforms) where public reporting confirms count and date.
- Excluded: unverified rumors, hedge-fund-adjusted "restructurings" below 25 headcount, layoffs at non-tech companies unless a tech division is specifically affected.
- Signal for candidates: each entry notes whether the company appears to be still hiring in other teams, which is the actionable question — a companywide RIF vs a single-team cut has very different implications for your ongoing loops there.

Data sources
Every entry cites its primary source. We prefer, in order: (1) WARN Act filings by state; (2) company 8-K filings; (3) TechCrunch, The Information, Bloomberg direct reporting; (4) crowd-sourced trackers like layoffs.fyi and TrueUp, cross-checked against primary reporting before inclusion.
