Why is the download unsigned?

Apple notarization takes hours per build and Windows EV code-signing costs several hundred dollars per year plus HSM tooling overhead. During v1 we ship unsigned so we can push fast. The Tauri auto-updater still verifies signed release manifests — you're protected from man-in-the-middle tampering even without OS-level signing. We roll out full OS signing when v1.0 stabilizes.

How to open MiPrep AI on macOS (first launch)

  1. 1Download the .dmg from the button above.
  2. 2Drag MiPrep AI.app into your Applications folder.
  3. 3First launch: right-click the app in Applications → Open. Confirm the dialog once.
  4. 4MiPrep AI opens. All future launches work normally.

How to open MiPrep AI on Windows (first launch)

  1. 1Download the .exe from the button above.
  2. 2Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen will show 'Windows protected your PC'.
  3. 3Click 'More info' → 'Run anyway'.
