Install on macOS
Download the .dmg, drag it to Applications, launch it. Signed and notarized, so Gatekeeper does not get in the way.
- Download the
.dmgfrom miprep.ai/download. - Open it and drag MiPrep to Applications.
- Launch it from Applications or Spotlight.
The build is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper clears it with no right-click-Open dance and no "unidentified developer" warning. If you do see one, you have an old or partial download — delete it and download again rather than overriding the warning.
What the app is called on your machine
The app is MiPrep AI in the Finder and in your Applications folder. Some OS-level surfaces — Activity Monitor, the microphone indicator in Control Centre — show a different, neutral process name instead. That is deliberate and not a sign of anything wrong.
Next
Launch it once before your first interview so the permission prompts happen on your schedule rather than thirty seconds into a call.
